Maybe it will work this time...

HB 177 Standard Care Arrangements (Brinkman, T [R]). Would allow a CNP, CNS, or CNM APRN to practice without a collaborating physician or podiatrist – would eliminate the standard care arrangement requirement. Also prohibits a physician from issuing a schedule II controlled substance prescription from a convenience care clinic, and allows school district/youth sports organizations to authorize any licensed health professional to assess an athlete for a concussion, and to clear the athlete to play. Referred to House Health Committee 4/02/2019. Fourth Hearing 6/18/2019.

What do you think about the elimination of the standard care arrangement?
